I'd avoid the budget-tier options entirely when:

  • The project involves any regulatory approval or third-party engineering review.
  • The liner will be in service for more than 10 years.
  • You don't have the ability to independently test incoming materials.

Look, I'm not saying Solmax is the only option. I've used other brands successfully on simpler projects. But after my $12,000 mistake, I've become more data-driven about these decisions.
